Andrew is a registered architect with 20 years' experience in the design and coordination of high profile projects with Foster and Partners and Wilkinson Eyre. 

After helping to deliver some of the country's most technically complex and stakeholder driven infrastructure projects Andrew set up Above Ground to work at the interface between key national built environment agendas and the reality of the communities that they serve.

Andrew's first project at Above Ground was the the pioneering Saltaire Retrofit Reimagined. By listening to residents and taking the reality of their experiences as a starting point, this project moved beyond building archetypes to integrate a technically complex national retrofit agenda with all aspects of the challenges faced by a community when trying to improve their homes.
